Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin

The Charité is one of the largest university hospitals in Europe. This research institute heals and teaches the doctors and scientists at top international level. About half of the German Nobel Prize winner for medicine and physiology are from the Charité, Emil von Behring, Robert Koch and Paul Ehrlich are a few of them.. Worldwide, the university hospital is estimated to be of excellent training.

The campus is spread over four locations at which more than 100 clinics and institutes bundled in 17 Charité Centers are included in. With 14,500 employees, earned the Charité around one billion euros per year and is one of the largest employers in Berlin.
